About Us

Electric Banana Records founders Megan & Rob have been collecting vinyl for more than 20 years—this is their favorite way to listen to and support the artists they love. Records are not just collectors’ objects, they’re magical discs that elicit joy and put a little money in the pockets of music creators. Megan & Rob believe that records should be accessible and collecting should be fun. Growing up in the 90s, they would hoard their money until they could afford the latest cassette tape or CD from their favorite artists at the local music store. Today, they have that same enthusiasm for music and share it with others through Electric Banana Records. 

 

Megan & Rob live in Shreveport, Louisiana, and look forward to selling records as a regional record-shop pop-up in the near future.
